Living in Dripping Springs, Texas

The city of Dripping Springs is known as the “Gateway to the Hill Country” and  fast becoming one of the most popular places to call home.  It is  than 30 minutes to downtown Austin, less than 30 minutes to the new Lakeway Regional Medical Center, Lake Travis and less than 30 minutes to Wimberley.  Talk about location!  And, the Dripping Springs ISD is among the top rated districts in Texas.
If you want to bring your horses, you will find beautiful ranches nestled among some old oak trees and rolling terrain. If you want new construction with some acreage, they’ve got that too, or perhaps a farm where you can grow hay or have cows and goats. Whatever your dream, you’ll find it in Dripping Springs….if you like the rural way of life that’s still close enough to the city for entertainment, shopping and restaurants. This little city is fast becoming one of the top destinations to live and play. Come take a look. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

One of the advantages of living in Dripping Springs is that you’re close to the famous Nutty Brown Cafe and Amphitheatre, located on 290 west, in the beautiful Texas Hill . This Austin staple is host to some of the oldest and most talented country artists in the business, which have included Willie Nelson, Clint Black and Blake Shelton. And, don’t forget the famous Salt Lick for the best BBQ in Texas.
