Village of Bee Cave Real Estate

In the early 1850′s Mr. Deitrich Bohls was looking for a place, away from the city, to raise his family.  During this time, West Austin still had indians so other settlers were not as brave as Mr. Bohls! There are still some original structures in Bee Cave that still exist today. The Village of Bee Cave was incorporated in 1987 and encompasses only two square miles of absolutely gorgeous hill country. Homes were first built in the 1900′s and are still being built today, whenever there is land to be found!  Prices range from the high $100,000′s to over 2 million.

I just love the location of Bee Cave because you have access to so many wonderful things.  You’re close to the Hill Country Galleria which has just about anything you could possibly want, including an outdoor amphitheatre, a movie theatre, fabulous restaurants and even  music while you shop.  And, if you like horses, there is the Bee Cave Riding Center where you can learn to ride, train or challenge.  And, you are in the Lake Travis ISD.  If you like the water, Lakeway is right up the road which is situated on Lake Travis, as well as a number of awesome marinas and boat launches.  Don’t forget to visit The Grille at Rough Hollow for a night you won’t forget.

The Village of Bee Cave is very unique and an extremely desirable place to live indeed.  You get beautiful landscape consisting of old oak trees and cedar trees, small, windy roads, gorgeous views, and a rural setting that is so close to the city.  Why would you want to live anywhere else!
